#37: Feast from the East All Natural Sesame Dressing: something extra for your salad...

10/12/2012

Picture
Our lastest brand new food, Feast from the East All-Natural Sesame Dressing, is from Feast Kitchens, Inc. out of Los Angeles, CA.

Anyone familiar with the well-known and very popular Feast from The East Restaurant (est. 1981) in Los Angeles (Westwood), CA will likely recognize the famous taste from their signature Chinese Chicken Salad served there.

What we liked:
Comments from our taste panel included "light, not overly sweet--virtually perfectly balanced flavor", "tastes very fresh and not heavy or artificial--delicious", "flavorful and it doesn't have an overpowering sesame taste", "love the fact that this dressing is all- natural, shelf-stable, and that there are only 6-7 ingredients", and "very good--like that there are only 90 calories per serving of dressing".

Story:

Feast From the East Restaurant is a unique quick-service restaurant serving Asian inspired cuisine since 1981 in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, CA.
Among the most popular of the restaurant's signature dishes are Chinese Chicken Salad (one reviewer wrote "so amazing and unique it should be patented"), Sesame Chicken wings, and more.

Ever since people began taking home bottles of the famous Sesame Dressing from the restaurant to share with others, people across the country have enjoyed the signature flavor of the dressing.

Costco in Las Vegas does not carry it. I had to have someone in California mail it to me she found it at Stater Bros.

Hi Donna -

Thanks for your information regarding Stater Bros. and we hope that you enjoyed the salad dressing as much as our taste panel did.

Unfortunately, Las Vegas, NV, is considered part of Costco's San Diego region. We got ours from a warehouse in Costco's LA region which comprises most of Greater Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Thanks for following brandnewfoods.com. Please let us know of any new and/or notable foods and/or beverages that the taste panel should try and possibly feature on the blog.

All the best.

Hi Yasmine -

We suggest contacting www.feastkitchens.com (tel. 866-731-1670) for information regarding distribution of their products.

The Kitchen Outlet (www.thekitchenoutlet.com), tel. 760.320.6614, sells the product as well. They should be to provide information for international shipping.

Thanks for following www.brandnewfoods.com.

Best,
Pete
